Revolutionizing Patient Care: How Artificial Intelligence is Changing the Way We Practice

AI technology is changing our treatment planning, radiographic, and diagnostic knowledge by acting as a second set of eyes to support final diagnostics and improve patient outcomes. Some feel AI will replace dental team members, but it is a tool to enhance our day-to-day activities. From digital x-rays to practice management systems, many areas of our practice can be enhanced using AI.

Participants will learn the impact artificial intelligence (AI) has on our daily practices and be able to:

  1. Describe how clinical workflow improves by integrating AI
  2. Develop practical applications of AI in treatment planning and case presentation
  3. Understand how patients will benefit from implementing AI
  4. Review security concerns and learn strategies for effectively and ethically integrating AI into the clinical workflow
