Sam Munakl

Sam Munakl is the founder and CEO of Cytek, a cybersecurity firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2018, he acquired the Dental IT company Tech Evolutions, now known as Xceltek, and became the CEO of DSN Software, a practice management software company, in 2020. He has more than 14 years of professional experience and continuing education in the Cybersecurity industry. After earning his Master's of Science in Cybersecurity from University of Maryland, he has continued his professional training by earning several Microsoft certifications including Microsoft Certified System Engineer and System Administrator. Sam is also HIPAA Security Certified.

Sam’s passion is Cybersecurity. Through Cytek, Sam and his team have worked tirelessly to develop solutions to protect businesses’ data and privacy. His knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and background in Cybersecurity has helped him to create solutions that allow healthcare practices to seamlessly attain and maintain compliance without interfering in the day-to-day operations of an organization.
